Hi! My name is Marisa Sato.
The Foreign Staff Coordinator under Human Resources Department of Excellent Care System Group.

My job is to work side by side with our team, to welcome and support the needs of our foreign staff - from the point of recruitment to answering queries and providing information they need about the company and the workplace. After they are hired, we continue to do regular consultations with our foreign staff and coordinate with the management to create a more comfortable working environment for them.

Let me tell you something about myself. I’m from the Philippines and currently residing in Japan. Aside from teaching English and doing translation jobs, I have also worked as an interpreter at the Tokyo Immigration Bureau. In my work at the Immigration Information Center, I’ve listened to the problems of the foreigners here in Japan. After working there for two years, along with my experiences with the language barrier, adjusting to a different culture and living in Japan for 20 years, my intention to help foreigners, especially my fellow Filipinos has significantly increased. I am convinced that working here at the Excellent Care System has given me a great opportunity to do that. I have never regretted my decision to work at this company because they really care for their foreign employees and treat us with the same respect they give to their Japanese employees.
