私の名前はアナ・ジョイ・カスティリオで、フィリピン出身です。
エクセレント西宮で働き始めてからまだ短い期間ですが、すでに多くの経験をさせていただき、それを皆さんと分かち合えることを嬉しく思います。外国人介護職員として、毎日が新しい学びや挑戦、そして心に残る瞬間の連続です。これから、ここでの私の歩みについてお話しできるのを楽しみにしています。

Hello everyone!
My name is Anna Joy Castillo, and I am from the Philippines.
Although it has only been a short time since I began working here at Excellent Nishinomiya, I have already experienced so much that I would be delighted to share with you. As a foreign care worker, every day brings new lessons, challenges, and meaningful moments, and I look forward to telling you about my journey here.

約1年前、私は別の会社で働いていましたが、共通の友人からエクセレント西宮で働く機会をご紹介いただきました。興味を持って会社について調べてみると、介護に対する情熱と優れたケア体制に深く感銘を受けました。その魅力に惹かれ、このチャンスを逃すまいと応募し、嬉しいことに初めての面接で採用していただきました。

About a year ago, I was working for a different company when a mutual friend introduced me to the opportunity of joining Excellent Nishinomiya. Out of curiosity, I researched the company and was truly impressed by its passion for caregiving and its excellent care system. Inspired by what I learned, I seized the opportunity, and to my delight, I was accepted after my very first interview.

採用後、会社からはさまざまな設備や家電がそろった寮をご用意いただきました。 西宮周辺で新しいアパートを探すのは難しく、費用もかかるため、このご配慮には本当に助けられました。寮は広く清潔で、とても快適で、まさに第二の我が家のようです。

Upon my acceptance, the company kindly offered me accommodation in a dormitory equipped with various amenities and appliances. This was a huge relief for me, as finding a new apartment in the Nishinomiya area can be both challenging and costly. The dormitory is spacious, clean, and comfortable — a true home away from home.

同じフィリピン出身の同僚と一緒に暮らしていますが、部屋がそれぞれ分かれているため、プライバシーも保たれ、快適に過ごせています。私たちは、このような温かいご配慮に心から感謝しています。

I share the dorm with a fellow Filipino coworker, and we are especially happy that it offers separate rooms, giving us both privacy and comfort. We are truly grateful for this generosity, which has made our transition and daily life here much easier and more enjoyable.

外国人として日本で働くにあたり、同僚や利用者の方々との間には常に言葉の壁が存在することを十分に理解しています。しかし、私はそのような課題が自分の責務を最善の形で果たすことを妨げるべきではないと強く信じています。むしろ、このような障害は、より一層努力し、効果的にコミュニケーションを取り、忍耐と理解をもって適応していくための原動力となっています。

As a foreigner working in Japan, I am fully aware that there will always be certain language barriers between myself, my colleagues, and the people we serve. However, I firmly believe that such challenges should never hinder me from fulfilling my responsibilities to the best of my ability. On the contrary, these obstacles inspire me to work harder, communicate more effectively, and adapt with patience and understanding.

この仕事における毎日は、介護技術や文化的な理解、人間関係の構築など、さまざまなことを新たに学ぶ貴重な機会です。私は常に心を開き、知識と技能を広げることに真摯な意欲を持って日々に臨んでいます。

Each day in this profession presents a valuable opportunity to learn something new — whether it is about caregiving techniques, cultural nuances, or building stronger relationships with those around me. I approach every day with an open mind and a sincere eagerness to expand my knowledge and skills.

私の高齢者や病気の方への介護に対する情熱は、単なる職業の枠を超えた、私にとって非常に個人的で大切なものです。日本に来る前、私は認知症を患う祖母の介護に多くの時間を費やしてきました。その経験は、忍耐や思いやり、そして本当の意味での共感を私に教えてくれました。

My passion for caring for the elderly and the sick goes far beyond the boundaries of a profession — it is something deeply personal to me. Before coming to Japan, I devoted much of my time to caring for my grandmother, who was living with dementia. That experience taught me patience, compassion, and the true meaning of empathy.

現在、エクセレント西宮で働く中で、お世話しているおばあさんやおじいさんの瞳に、しばしば祖母の面影を見つけます。その笑顔や会話、日々の小さな瞬間が、私がこの道を選んだ理由――愛と敬意、そして真心をもって尽くすこと――を改めて思い出させてくれます。

Now, as I work here at Excellent Nishinomiya, I often see my grandmother reflected in the eyes of every grandmother and grandfather I care for. Each smile, each conversation, and each small moment reminds me why I chose this path — to serve with love, respect, and a genuine heart.

これからも関連する研修への参加や専門資格の取得を通じて、自らを高め、あらゆる面で卓越性を追求してまいります。介護職員としてだけでなく、一人の人間としても成長し、名誉と尊厳、そして思いやりの心をもって、すべての業務に取り組み続ける所存です。

Moving forward, I am committed to continually improving myself by participating in relevant training, earning professional qualifications, and striving for excellence in all aspects of my work. I aim to grow not only as a care worker but also as a person, upholding the values of honor, dignity, and compassion in every task I undertake.
