初めまして。えくせれんと江戸川のデレオン　シャーメインと申します。

Hi. My name is Charmaine De Leon of Excellent Edogawa.

日本に来日して4年目。
4/1にえくせれんと江戸川に入職してから1カ月経過しました。

It's been four years since I came to Japan. It has been a month since I started working here at the Excellent Edogawa on April 1st.

最初はスタッフとのコミュニケーションが難しくリーダーや先輩達が仕事に慣れるまでたくさん助けてくれました。
事務所スタッフの方からもサポートを受け、日々仕事をしていく中で、利用者様ともコミュニケーションを取ることができ、利用者様から「ありがとう」と言われたときにやりがいを感じています。

I also receive support from the office staff, and as I work every day, I am able to communicate with the elders, and I feel rewarded when they say "thank you."

食事作りに関しても味付けに不安がありましたが、レシピを参考にしたり、他の職員に味見をしてもらってから利用者様に提供しているので安心して業務をすることができています。
利用者様から「美味しい」と言われ時はすごく嬉しいです。

I was also worried about the seasoning of the meals, but I refer to recipes and have other staff taste them before serving them to the elders, so I can work with peace of mind.
It makes me very happy when the elders appreciate what I cook and hear them say “delicious”.

最近では夜勤もするようになり夜１人になることが不安ではありましたが、先輩職員にOJTについてもらい、わからないこと等を相談しながら業務にあたれています。

Recently, I was given a chance to work on night shifts, which made me worried about being alone at night, but I have been getting on-the-job training from senior staff and am able to consult with them about anything I don't understand.

将来的には介護福祉士取得に向け、日々の業務で楽しく仕事を続けていきたいと思います。
外国人が一緒に働くにはサポートが手厚く良い会社だと思いました。

In the future, I would like to continue enjoying my daily work while aiming to obtain a care worker qualification. For me, Excellent Care group is a good company that provides support for foreign workers.
